DJI has rolled out a fresh update for its Terra all-in-one drone mapping solution, aimed at addressing specific issues related to flight route uploads and base station data modification.
This latest update, labeled version 4.0.10, follows closely on the heels of version 4.0.8, which was recently released. With a focus on resolving key issues, this new version brings improvements to the Terra platform.
Among the issues tackled in this update are two significant ones. Firstly, users had encountered difficulties uploading flight routes after editing planned fields in the Fruit Tree mode on Terra v4.0.0. This problem hindered efficient workflow and data collection in certain mapping scenarios. The update seeks to rectify this issue, ensuring smoother flight route management in Fruit Tree mode.
Secondly, there were reports of inefficiencies in modifying base station center point data within the LiDAR Point Cloud Mission on Terra v4.0.8. This issue posed challenges for users relying on precise base station adjustments for accurate drone mapping and surveying operations. With the new update, DJI aims to enhance the effectiveness of base station data modification, providing users with greater control and flexibility in their mapping endeavors.
By swiftly addressing these issues and releasing timely updates, DJI demonstrates its commitment to providing reliable and user-friendly solutions for drone mapping professionals. Users are encouraged to download and install version 4.0.10 of Terra to take advantage of these improvements and enjoy a smoother mapping experience. DJI remains dedicated to ongoing support and enhancement of its Terra platform, ensuring that users can maximize the capabilities of their drone mapping workflows.
